Privacy Policy

Zenith Laser NZ Limited (NZBN 9429052713309) operates this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect through it, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet our obligations under the Privacy Act 2020.
Last updated: 2 September 2026.
What we collect
We only collect personal information that you type into an enquiry form yourself. Every form on this site asks for the same things:
- your first and last name;
- your email address;
- your phone number;
- your business or clinic name, if you give one; and
- whatever you write in the message field.
You do not have to give us any of it. If you would rather phone or email us directly, the details are at the bottom of this page.
Our web server also keeps standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, the pages requested and when. These are kept for security and troubleshooting, not marketing, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.
Why we collect it, and what we do with it
We collect it for one purpose: to answer your enquiry. That means contacting you about the machine, finance, training or servicing you asked about, and following up if a conversation is already underway.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or trade it. We will not add you to a marketing list off the back of an enquiry without asking you first.
Who else sees it
When you submit an enquiry form, it is sent to a lead-handling service operated by Webgun, who build and maintain this website for us. They process enquiries on our behalf and under our instructions; they do not use your information for their own purposes.
Beyond that, we share personal information only where we genuinely need to — for example with a finance provider if you have asked us to arrange finance, and then only with your knowledge — or where the law requires it.
Where it is stored
This website is hosted in Auckland, New Zealand. Enquiry records and our email are held on services that may store data overseas. Where information is held outside New Zealand, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected by comparable safeguards, as the Privacy Act requires.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we have a working relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can support a machine you bought from us and meet our legal and tax obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not run third-party tracking scripts. WordPress may set a cookie if you log in to the site’s administration area, which applies to our staff rather than to visitors.
If that changes — for example if we add website analytics or advertising measurement — we will update this policy before those tools go live.
Seeing and correcting your information
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email info@zenithlaser.co.nz and we will respond as soon as we can, and within 20 working days as the Act requires. We may need to confirm who you are before releasing anything.
You can also ask us to delete your enquiry, and we will unless we are required to keep it.
Keeping it safe
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and enquiries are transmitted encrypted. Access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but if a privacy breach ever occurred that could cause you serious harm, we would notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner as the Act requires.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please tell us first — email info@zenithlaser.co.nz so we have a chance to put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz or 0800 803 909.
